Question 1

How do I register a complaint with MEPCO?

Accepted Answer

Call 118, register it on the CCMS portal at ccms.pitc.com.pk, send an SMS to 8118, or visit your MEPCO sub-division office in person.

Question 2

What information do I need to provide?

Accepted Answer

Your reference number or consumer ID, your name and address, and a clear description of the issue. Photos of the meter or bill help if you're reporting online or in person.

Question 3

How long does MEPCO take to resolve a complaint?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the issue. Simple faults are often resolved within a day or two, while billing and meter complaints that need a site visit can take longer. You can check progress on the CCMS portal or by calling 118.

Question 4

How can I avoid common bill or service problems?

Accepted Answer

Pay on time and keep receipts, check your meter reading against your bill, use energy-efficient appliances, and never tamper with a meter or make an unauthorised connection.

Question 5

What if I haven't received my MEPCO bill?

Accepted Answer

You don't need to wait for the paper copy. Enter your reference number on our MEPCO bill check page to view or download it. If it's genuinely missing month after month, visit your sub-division office.
